This bathroom renovation by AMZY Constructions transformed an outdated space into a contemporary bathroom with elegant finishes, modern fixtures, and a clean, sophisticated design. The project combines large-format stone-look tiles, a freestanding bathtub, a floating vanity, and matte-black fittings to create a space that feels both luxurious and practical. Every detail was carefully considered to achieve a cohesive finish that enhances the bathroom's appearance while maintaining its everyday functionality.
The Challenge :
The client wanted to modernise their existing bathroom, which featured dated blue floor tiles, beige wall tiles, a built-in bathtub, and a traditional timber vanity. The goal was to create a more luxurious, visually appealing space that reflected contemporary bathroom design while retaining the room's original layout and making effective use of the available space.
Our Approach :
AMZY Constructions approached the renovation with a focus on clean lines, quality finishes, and a consistent design throughout the room. We replaced the contrasting floor and wall finishes with large-format, light grey stone-look tiles to create a more seamless and spacious appearance. The existing built-in bath was replaced with a sculptural freestanding bathtub, complemented by matte-black wall-mounted tapware and a matching heated towel rail.
To elevate the vanity area, we incorporated a modern floating vanity with a white marble-look countertop, a sit-on basin, and an illuminated oval mirror cabinet. A textured vertical feature wall adds depth and visual interest, while carefully selected accessories and warm lighting bring a welcoming, spa-inspired atmosphere to the space.
The Result :
The finished bathroom delivers a striking balance of modern elegance, comfort, and functionality. The neutral tile palette creates a calm foundation, while the matte-black fixtures provide contrast and definition. The freestanding bathtub, floating vanity, and feature wall serve as standout design elements, giving the room a premium, contemporary feel.
